Pocket52 PSL Season 5 has landed

Online qualifiers are starting from May 4th '23 on Pocket52 app. Virtual league matches will start on July 22nd '23 & the Live finale on Aug 16th '23.

You can enter the league through a series of FREE to play online qualifiers from the Pocket 52 app.

All the qualifiers for season 5 will be online and played only on the Pocket52 app.

No, the Pocket52 PSL is FREE to register. The only way is to register for qualifiers on the Pocket52 app.

On qualification, you are assured a base fee. Additionally, being a part of the team gives you a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play and learn from the top players in the country. You will also be featured on an OTT platform.

OIn total there will be 31 qualifiers & the maximum number of qualifiers a player can play is 6.

Players will compete to secure points on a leaderboard, and the top 34 get an assured spot in Pocket52 PSL S5 team.

There will be six teams. Each team will have 12 players. 1-Team owner, 1-Captain, 2-Pros, 6-Qualifiers, 1-Women qualifier and 1-Wild card.

8th July '23 - Player Auction

22nd Jul ‘23 - 10th Aug ‘23 - Virtual League matches

6th Aug ‘23 - 20th Aug ‘23 - Live Finale

Once you make it into the top 34 players, you will go through a bidding process in the Auction ceremony, in which the team owners and captains will bid for you.

The base fee of a qualifier is INR 50,000. The bidding will start from this amount.

The players who top the leaderboard in online qualifiers will get selected as a qualifiers. The teams have the option to retain 1-pro and 1-qualifier from the previous season. Pros will be selected from the pro draft & women player will be selected from the women qualifiers. Wildcards and Captains will be directly selected by the team owners.

This means Pocket52 PSL S5 will be digital as well as physical. League matches will be conducted online on the Pocket52 poker app and Finale will be conducted live.

If not being able to play due to slow internet connections, faulty hardware, internet connection failure, low computer configuration or for any other reason not attributable then we are not responsible for the same.

In PSL, our structure is one where the Teams select the players from the draft. Once selected, you have to play for the team you are selected for.

Each player can play a maximum of 6 qualifier matches out of a total 31 matches on the Pocket52 app

Tournament LB Points Formula = Sqrt(A)/Sqrt(B) * 10; A = total no of entries, B = Rank of the player.

Yes there is a compulsory women qualifier in a team & this time there will be seperate women qualifiers. Women can play the qualifiers & if they dont make it to the qualifiers draft then they can even play the women qualifiers to be a part of the team as a women player.

Yes, we have 3 matches exclusively for women starting from 23rd Jun to 25th Jun '23.
